Dare Dare Dare is a pass-the-phone party game. It's built to need as little of your data as possible.

What we collect

Nothing is collected on a server or sent to us. Specifically:

• Player names and avatars — entered locally when you set up a game. In offline mode, this data never leaves your device. In online mode, names/avatars are relayed in real time only to the other players in your game room, and are held in server memory only for the life of that room — nothing is written to a database or kept after the room closes.
• Photos — if you choose a photo avatar, the app accesses your camera or photo library only to let you pick that one image. It's stored on your device as part of the game session and is never uploaded anywhere.
• No accounts — there's no sign-up, no login, and no persistent user profile of any kind.
• No analytics, no trackers, no ads — the app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software.

Online multiplayer rooms

When you create or join an online room, your player name, avatar choice, and in-game actions (guesses, scores) are transmitted to the other players in that same room so the game can be played together. This data lives only in server memory for the duration of the room and is discarded when the room closes or the server restarts. It is never stored long-term or shared with anyone outside that game room.

Children's privacy

Dare Dare Dare does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, since no personal information is collected or stored in the first place.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
